Wear a face mask when going out in public. Currently it is required in the State of Maryland, and it’s an effective way to protect yourself and others.
Practice social distancing. Stay at least six feet apart from others in public spaces and avoid crowds.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. This helps prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Johns Hopkins has a helpful infographic for kids on hand washing.
Take care of yourself by eating balanced meals, getting adequate exercise and rest, monitoring your health and seeking care from a professional when you need it.
